Аннотация. Рассмотрена проблема управления инвестициями в информационную безопасность предприятия. Представлены результаты экспериментальных исследований, направленных на улучшение методов и средств управления инвестициями в информационную безопасность предприятия, минимизацию затрат, определение комплексной оценки затрат и повышение эффективности их инвестирования.

AUTOMATING MANAGEMENT OF INVESTMENT IN INFORMATION SECURITY FOR BUSINESS

Abstract. The present article is concerned with the main findings about management of investment in information security for business. The problem of automating management of investment in information security for business is clearly defined in the work. The authors offer a management system as solution of this problem. Working of the system is represented as a formal model. The most attention is given to the new system approach to the management of investment in information security. This approach is founded on using automatic management tools. The offered approach determines an integrated assessment of costs of the information security. On the basis of the received assessment it is possible to forecast the further costs of implementing the system of information security. The key difference of the offered approach from the existing ones is that not one object is managed but five ones: information resources, investments, investment portfolios, investment projects, risks for information security for business. Working out the management system for investment in information security for business, the following management tools were created: management agent, information and investment manager, information system, model of investment efficiency. These management tools are management subjects for investment in information security for business. The automated management is realized on the analytical, strategic and operating levels. The offered management system for investment in information security can be used for business to develop the automatic investment management, to reduce costs and to minimize risks for information security for business.
